When planning the installation of a renewable heating system at Kew I went to Fit for the Future for help and was able to speak to a whole range of members, including Oxford University and National Trust, about their experience of installing a renewable heating system. Their advice meant I was able to go back to my team and have an informed conversation with them about the importance of a successful handover and maintenance contract.

We now have a technical consultant employed to oversee this aspect of our new biomass boiler and this was as a result of the Network.
