Overview

Nearly 50% of our membership asked for more support with tackling sustainable procurement, so this is the first of two events we will be running in 2020.

This first session will introduce some of the key themes, and will be a mixture of presentations, group discussions and table work.

Here are some of the key questions we hope to answer:

What does a good policy look like?

How do we develop a strategy for dealing with procurement?

How do we engage with/influence procurement teams?

How does procurement feed into the challenge of achieving net zero?

How do we prioritise areas and what sort of targets do we set?

We also hope to explore some potential opportunities for the network to use its collective purchasing power for positive impact.

And of course there will be a chance to hear first hand about Chatsworth's approach to procurement, and have a look around the site.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

This event is for members only, and the usual cancellation fee of £60 applies for those who do not turn up on the day.

If you have any questions please contact Hannah on hannah.mann@nationaltrust.org.uk

We look forward to seeing you there.
