Fit for the Future Online Screening of The People's Emergency Briefing

Communities and organisations are using a free-to-screen film to brief the UK public about the climate and nature crisis. Screenings in village halls, cinemas, faith spaces and workplaces are bringing constituents, civic leaders and MPs together to hear the evidence - and consider what an emergency response should look like.

Maybe your organisation is spread throughout the UK and it is difficult to get everyone together in-person and/or you do not have access to a venue. The Fit for the Future online screening will be led by the National Emergency Briefing team and will be open to you and all your colleagues.

Sustainable IT and AI Virtual Discussion Group

The challenges of understanding and managing your IT and AI environmental impact are significant.  In particular, the recent growth of AI has raised many questions regarding the balance between the positive opportunities it can provide in enabling environmental management innovations versus it’s negative environmental operational impact (for example it’s significant energy consumption and how it can enable the development of fossil fuels as well).  This virtual discussion group will provide an opportunity for you to share and collaborate on this key issue with members from across the network.
