On the 24th of October we hosted the latest in our Sustainability Strategy Series with Fit for the Future member the British Library.  Catherine Ross (Sustainability Manager at the British Library) provided an overview of the library’s first Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy; this wide-ranging strategy focusing on four main priorities for action across the library:

  • Our Place
  • Our Purposes
  • Our Partnerships
  • Embedded in our Work

Catherine also provided insights about the development process over the past year (with staff across the library co-creating the strategy and action plan), with valuable transferrable learnings and recommendations on questions to ask at the start of the process.

Many thanks to everyone who attended and joined in the discussion sharing their own experiences.
