Many Fit for the Future members are now updating and creating environmental sustainability or Green job roles to support the development and delivery of their sustainability activity and ambitions.  As organisations align all activity with a sustainable ethos (and many with net zero targets) the challenges of matching the right skills and resources with objectives and targets can be significant.

On the 12th December we hosted the Environmental Sustainability Job Roles Virtual Discussion Group, to support members in this key area.  The session started with a presentation from Rebecca Turner (Careers Pathway Manager at the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA)).  Rebecca provided an overview of the IEMA Green Careers Hub; a platform to access resources and careers information that relate to current and future skills, knowledge and experience requirements.
