The session started with a fantastic presentation from Neil Clark, Fit for the Future member and formerly the lead environmental adviser for Oxfam GB. Neil facilitated group discussions that focused on data challenges (including data quality), approaches, opportunities and the benefits of better data such as: setting more realistic targets, talking to stakeholders with greater confidence/credibility and supporting compliance with mandatory reporting and the green claims guidance.
The session provided members with the opportunity to ask questions and share methodologies, resources and progress in this key area. "For me one of the greatest benefits of this group is that we are not alone and can share similar challenges and suggestions."
Many thanks to everyone that attended and made the session such a success. Data will continue to be a focus of all Fit for the Future activity and the Sustainability Data Discussion Group will also continue in 2024. Dates to be confirmed shortly by the Fit for the Future team!
