We are looking for a dynamic, experienced and hands-on Chair who can lead the Network through a pivotal year for climate change and can ensure the long-term future of our Network and its members.

The Role and its Purpose

The Fit For The Future Network is at an exciting stage of its development; with a growing membership, and developing services, Fit For The Future is in the process of developing its future strategic and financial strategy and objectives.

Overall, the Chair will act as the figurehead for the Fit For The Future Network, providing leadership, maintaining links with key staff and stakeholders. The Chair will work with the Fit For The Future Manager and ensure the board adds value to Fit For The Future Network through the provision of high-level advice from independent, external and authoritative sources. They will also, through the board, help Fit For The Future staff make fully informed decisions, and provide a broad overview of professional standards.
