Thrive Renewables connects people to sustainable energy. The company offers opportunities for individuals and businesses to play a direct role in generating clean, green power. Thrive has built or funded the construction of 22 renewable energy projects over the last 25 years, including wind, solar, hydro, geothermal and renewable heat.

Triodos Bank focuses its activities across three overarching themes: Environmental, Cultural and Social. Together, these cover a broad range of sectors – including renewable energy, organic farming and social housing through to retail, charities and education. Since 1980, their sustainable financial products have enabled individuals and organisations to use their money in ways that benefit people and the environment.

Thrive and Triodos will be sharing their experiences and knowledge of the renewable energy sector; how it is growing, how it has been impacted by the pandemic, new innovations, what is the fastest growing technology and where are new projects being delivered.

They will highlight ways in which our members can be supporting this energy transition,  and equally how they can benefit from it. The pandemic has seen reduced budgets, resource and capacity, but nonetheless a commitment to the sustainability agenda. What are the options available to deliver renewable energy schemes and how can members tap into those? And more broadly, what is the role for charities and organisations in supporting the low carbon transition through financial decisions?

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and further understand the opportunities to deliver practical, impactful change.
