A network of organisations from the not-for-profit sector and beyond, working together to become climate-friendly, adaptive and resilient

Sharing & Showcasing

The Network and its members are leaders for the low carbon transition in the third sector and beyond. By sharing the success of our members and showcasing their projects, we’re helping them to publicly demonstrate their commitment to the environment and to inspire others to follow. Here are some of the benefits you will receive by becoming part of the Network.

Showcase projects to peers

When our members complete new projects, we arrange a Fit for the Future site visit so they can share their work with fellow network members from the third sector and beyond. This is a valuable opportunity to raise the profile of your sustainability work and celebrate your successes. Historic Environment Scotland hosted a visit like this to showcase their retrofit and energy efficiency measures at 12th Century Stirling Castle. Take a look at what was covered and see an overview of the event.

Fit for the Future news and updates

Our monthly newsletter goes out to hundreds of people from the eighty-plus organisations involved in the Network. It’s an opportunity to share your environmental projects, ask advice or seek collaboration with other members, and receive the latest news from within the Network and the wider sustainability sector. We ensure our members are up-to-date and that there is plenty of opportunity to share ideas and connect, even if it’s not face-to-face.

Promotion and Profile

We will promote your news, events and  job vacancies via our website and monthly newsletters, and share them with our 1,150-plus followers on social media. We raise the profile of our members’ sustainability work by sharing their success stories through our different platforms and in publications like our 2016 Impact Report. There are also opportunities to promote your work in external publications and at public speaking events.
