Join The Network
Contact the Network team using the form below and we’ll arrange a call to discuss your organisation’s sustainability work, the challenges you face, and how Fit for the Future can help your organisation become climate-friendly, adaptive and resilient. In the meantime, take a look at the services we offer our members and the impact the Network is having.
Who can join?
Since its launch three years ago, hundreds of people from more than 80 organisations in the not-for-profit sector and beyond have joined Fit for the Future. The individuals involved range from estate managers and rangers to engineers and procurement professionals. Whatever your role, if you’re interested in making your organisation more sustainable, we’d love to hear from you.
The Network is about growing a community and sharing knowledge, so we welcome new members as long as they share our core values.
We are a non-commercial Network: Fit for the Future is for not-for-profits and other organisations that want to work together to become climate friendly, adaptive and resilient. Members can always be confident that they are benefitting from impartial, honest advice as the Network is not for those wishing to sell services or otherwise commercially gain from other members.
We’re about practical solutions: The Network operates on the principle that, more often than not, the solution is already out there. Members share their knowledge and experience to help each other find solutions and get the job done.
The Network is honest & open: When members share their sustainability projects, what didn’t work is just as important as what worked well. The Network thrives on the honest sharing of experiences, both good and bad. It’s about members learning from each other to increase their resilience.
How membership works
Fit for the Future is free to join for the first year. At the end of the year we’ll review your experience and find out if you’d like to stay. If you decide to remain part of our thriving Network there will be a fee based on your organisation’s annual turnover. This enables us to keep this not-for-profit Network and all of the services going. Here’s how the fees work:
|Turnover of member organisation (£ millions)|
|Less than£1m||£1m – £10m||£10m – £25m||£25m – £50m||£50m – £100m||£100m plus|
Please bear in mind that this is exclusive of VAT.
