This year, Community Energy Fortnight (#CEF17) and The Climate Coalition are Powering Together to showcase and celebrate solutions to climate change.

The annual Community Energy Fortnight is a platform to showcase inspiring examples of communities who are sharing their resources and generating renewable energy and wasting less – embracing technologies as diverse as solar-PV arrays, wind turbines, hydro-electricity and biomass heat.

2017 will see the fifth Community Energy Fortnight take place from 24th June – 9th July.

This year and for the first time, Community Energy Fortnight has teamed up with The Climate Coalition’s Week of Action from 1st-9th July. Local groups, communities and organisations will be hosting events to share their stories, inviting MPs to come and talk to them about positive solutions and actions.

If you’re interested in getting involved in running an event for #CEF17, or would like to know more information, contact the team directly. You can also run events as part of the Week of Action, see what’s happening locally or sign up to attend one of these events through the Week of Action website.
