Lighting the Way Forum – The Wallace Collection
Delegates went to the beautiful location of The Wallace Collections to discuss and share knowledge on LED lighting.
Firstly, Marc Sutton Vane gave an overview of LED lighting and things to take in to consideration when moving over to LEDs. The presentation then went on to provide a case study of The Wallace Collection’s shift over to LED lighting.
Alan Wood followed with a case study of the Ashmolean Museum at the University of Oxford. The presentation explained how the Museum saved 236 tonnes of CO2 and £45 000 a year.
Following the presentations, members were given the chance to discuss and debate on the topic of lighting.
Delegates were then given a guided tour round The Wallace Collection highlighting the different lighting features and monitoring systems throughout the galleries.
